    Latest News: Pig Released!

    March 16, 2013

    Hello,
We have just released a new game called Pig, in celebration of St. Patrick's Day! It is a very simple dice game where you roll one die, and are faced with two options: Roll or Hold. Every roll of the dice increases your score, except if you roll a one. If you roll a one, you loose ALL your points scored for that turn, and the next person goes. Your goal is to rack up as many points as you can and Hold (allowing the next person to go), before you roll a 1.

Older News: New Version of the RS Games Client, Voice Clips Feature, and New Games Released: Farkle and Rummy!

    December 24, 2012

Hello, We have just released version 1.6 of our client, which includes an exciting new feature--voice clips! This feature allows players to send short voice clips to each other while in a game. To use this feature, press Control+R to begin recording, and again to stop when you are finished. There is a limit of 15 seconds per clip. After you finish recording, the clip will be played back to the other players in the game. Voice clips will appear in the chat buffer along with regular chat messages. You can press Control+L (Command+L on the Mac) when focused on a voice clip in the chat buffer to listen to it. More information on this feature can be found in the Readme file. Note that this is an experimental beta feature. We may encounter issues at first, and make no guarantees that we will be able to keep this feature forever. However, we're hoping everything works well and are confident you will enjoy it. Version 1.6 also fixes support for the Dolphin Supernova screen reader. We apologize for not fixing this sooner. The update will be downloaded automatically if you are on Windows. Mac users will need to download it from here. A Linux update is coming soon. Enjoy, and happy holidays from RS Games!

    December 20, 2012

Hello Gamers, Exactly 3 years ago, December 20th, 2009, RS Games released Monopoly. The free game only ran on Windows, and was our sole multiplayer title. What originally started out as a fun project turned into a dream come true on this date. We received a heap of feedback from players, extolling our work, as well as asking for more games. Therefore, several months later, we released Uno, and the RS Games Client which currently powers our multiplayer platform. Unlike Monopoly, this piece of software runs on three common operating systems, Mac, Windows, and Linux. It also allows us to release new games without people having to go to a website and download new software. In celebration of our first anniversary, on December 20th, 2010, we added Yahtzee as our third title. It is one of the more popular games on the server, and based on the comments from many players, we know hours of fun have been spent playing it. In celebration of our second anniversary, December 20th, 2011, we released Apples to Apples. It is a really fun game that we know our players are enjoying. To celebrate the third anniversary of RS Games, we are releasing two new games, the classic dice game Farkle and the card game Rummy! Our testers have had an inordinate amount of fun playing these games, and I'm confident all of you will too. If you already have the client installed, all you need to do is login to start playing. If not, head over to The RS Games Client Page to join in the fun, for free.
